How we check a clinic
Every PracLens report follows the same method, so you can compare clinics fairly and see exactly how sure we are about each answer.
No commissions. No clinic partnerships. Paid for by readers only.
What we check
20 questions across seven areas: the clinic, team & qualifications, safety & technology, cost & process, materials & warranty, reviews, and service on the ground.
Where it comes from
Official registries and health portals, the clinic's own websites compared page by page, independent review platforms, and our own direct contact with the clinic.
We ask like a patient
For every clinic we cover, we contact them ourselves – as a real prospective patient would, not as a journalist announcing an inspection.
How to read the colours
Green: well supported – multiple independent sources agree, or we documented it ourselves. Yellow: the clinic's own claim only. Red: contradictory, or nothing found publicly. Grey: general context. The colours rate the evidence, not the clinic.
What we never do
We take no commissions and have no partnerships with any clinic. Clinics cannot pay to be reviewed, to be left out, or to change a finding. Our reports are research, not medical advice.
Corrections
Every finding is dated. If you believe something is wrong or out of date, email hello@praclens.com with your source. We review every report of an error and correct confirmed mistakes.
